Menno van Dijk is founder of ScaleUpNation. ScaleUpNation conducts research on the success factors of young, innovative enterprise beyond the start-up phase – so called scale-ups. And it provides a range of support programs for scale-up MTs and Boards.
From 2011-2016 he was cofounder and managing director or THNK, school of creative leadership. THNK offers executive leadership programs on the interface of innovation, creative and entrepreneurship. Under Menno’s leadership THNK opened offices in Vancouver and Lisbon and ran programs at Stanford, Shanghai and San Paolo.
From 1988 to 2010 Menno worked at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Senior Partner. He worked in McKinsey’s offices in Amsterdam, Sydney and Johannesburg and led projects in most European countries, Australia, South Africa, the US, China and India. He focused on business strategy, innovation and growth. Industry focus included Media, High tech and Energy.
Menno holds an MSc in Physics from State University Leiden, the Netherlands, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, France. He and his wife have two children and live in the Netherlands.
